How to know if you have Hyperthyroidism or Hypothyroidism

Think of thyroid as an energy auditing system of your body. It constantly checks that the brain, heart, muscles, and other organs use energy properly.

Now if this auditing system gets damaged that’s where the problem starts. The system may get too lenient (hyperthyroid) in which it accelerates the body processes and hence the metabolism rate increases rapidly. Or it may get too strict (hypothyroid) in which it slows down the body processes and thus the metabolism rate decreases.

Here are few signs which will help you know if your energy audit system is too lenient (hyperthyroid) or too strict (hypothyroid)

These are some easy to check symptoms of thyroid. If you feel significant number of symptoms in either of the above categories, do get a check-up at the earliest. For more information and to know how to tackle thyroid with simple home based remedies visit Dr Nidhi’s PHCC
